Have you heard of this?
Second Quest is a graphic novel in development by fans of the Zelda Series. The art is being done by David Hellman (who did the art for Braid), and Tevis Thompson (the fella who wrote a really strong essay about what's wrong with modern Zelda games). It appears to be a 50 page graphic novel that tells a story about a realm that has already been saved, and how maybe the legends that are told about the hero may nat be accurate. It sounds really great, and I hope that the story is funded, because I seriously believe that it could be worth it to tell a unique story like this that is both a labor of love for a franchise that I am passionate about, as well as a critical look at a franchise which has fallen from grace.
